Drawing Near to God “Draw Near to God and He Will Draw Near to You...” - James 4:8 Lesson 1 The Need for a Relationship with God 1. What was God’s intention in creating us? (Acts 17:24-28; cf. Genesis 1:26-27) 2. Is God far away from us that we cannot find Him?
3. Why must a person who comes to God believe that He is real? (Hebrews 11:6)
The Problem of Sin 4. What is sin? (1 John 3:4). 5. Have all people in the world sinned? (Romans 3:23). 6. Can anyone gain the approval of God by being “good enough”? (Romans 3:23) 7.
